Job summary

Tadano in Georgetown, TX is seeking an Assembly Production Associate to plan, prepare and assemble crane sub-assemblies and final assemblies, ensuring quality and on-time production.

You will follow documented procedures, use hand and power tools, and leverage lean manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1–2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred; heavy equipment industry a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand and power tools.
• Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tape measure, calipers).
• Forklift or overhead crane operation experience preferred (certification/training provided).

Responsibilities

• Follow documented procedures to perform safe and defect-free assembly.
• Leverage lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement.
• Use hand and power tools for assembly and lifting devices to move heavy components.
• Plan workflow and lay out jobs; inspect parts for adherence to specifications.
• Assemble cranes and crane sub-assemblies for standard products and pilots.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and complete required paperwork.
