Responsibilities

1. Perform a wide range of skilled tasks, including framing, drywall installation, flooring, and electric.
2. Safely operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
3. Take measurements and calculate materials needed for each project.
4. Install fixtures, fittings, and accessories with a high level of precision.
5. Ensure all work meets industry standards and regulations.
6. Collaborate with other craftsmen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Deliver a consistent & remarkably better customer experience.
8. Communicate with customers about scope of work, cost estimates, and manage expectations.
9. Leave customers thrilled with your current work, and open doors to future work.
10. Write, present, and sell your own estimates.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Craftsman in the construction industry, 10 or more years.
2. Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
3. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
7. Physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks in all types of weather.
8. Valid driver's license.
9. Own tools necessary for daily work.
10. High school diploma or equivalent.
11. Fluent in English.
12. Live within the Northern Virginia area (preferably within our service territory).
