Ace Handyman Services is seeking a Craftsman/Handyman in McHenry, IL. This full-time role pays $26–$28 per hour and offers consistent year-round work on a variety of residential repairs and remodeling projects in the McHenry area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Carpenter/Handyman
• Strong multi-trade knowledge across trades
• Able to repair drywall, paint, tile and install flooring
• Basic plumbing and electrical repair skills
• Great communication with homeowners throughout projects
• Professional appearance and customer service mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform residential repairs and maintenance
• Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and flooring projects
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Install fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items
• Troubleshoot repair issues and determine best solutions
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project
• Maintain accurate job documentation and complete work efficiently while upholding high quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, Craftsman, or Handyman
• Strong knowledge across multiple trades, including:
• Drywall
• Painting
• Tile

• Home inspection or estimating experience is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
