Job summary

Ace Handyman Services seeks a highly motivated Craftsman with multi-trade skills for Madison and surrounding areas. You will assess properties, identify repair opportunities, and deliver quality workmanship with a customer-focused approach.

• Good overall knowledge of all trades (multi-skilled Craftsman).
• Must be quick-thinking, solve issues promptly and professionally.
• Excellent communication with management, homeowners, suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and identify repair opportunities for clients.
• Communicate with customers to explain services and recommendations.
• Perform handyman tasks in plumbing, carpentry, tiling and electrical trades as required.
• Maintain clean, organized tools and presentable appearance.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-quality service culture.

Proper Equipment:

Not necessarily having every tool, but knowing what tools are needed for certain tasks.

Troubleshooting Skills:

Must be a quick thinker, able to examine issues and resolve them in a prompt and professional manner.

Excellent Communication Skills:

Must be able to communicate effectively with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Suppliers, Property Managers and Commercial Customers.

Be Presentable:

• Clean-Cut appearance
• Decent looking vehicle
• Organized tools

Other:

• Look around the property and communicate to the customer things you could repair or things that our company can handle.
• Take the time to earn the customer’s confidence and then inquire about additional work that could be performed.
