Job summary

Pixyls is seeking a Crafting Content Creator to produce weekly short-form videos from your own space, featuring our sticker-by-number kits and crafts. You’ll film, edit, and style warm, editorial-looking content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and ads, working closely with the founder and marketing team.

You should love crafting, be comfortable on camera, proficient with CapCut or Premiere Pro, and able to deliver a steady stream of content with strong hooks, pacing, captions and trending

Qualifications

• A portfolio or social account showing short-form videos you've filmed and edited.
• Strong skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
• Comfortable filming with a phone and/or camera with basic lighting.
• A dedicated space at home with good light and reliable internet.
• Good grasp of what works on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Organized and self-directed with steady weekly content delivery.
• Clear, quick communication on Slack with some overlap with North American hours.
• Bonus: on-camera comfort (hands or face), ASMR experience, photography, or experience at a DTC or craft brand.

Responsibilities

• Craft with our products on camera: peeling, placing, building and revealing finished pieces.
• Plan and film short-form videos weekly, including ASMR, process, comedy, trend and lifestyle content.
• Style shots with props, backdrops and lighting for warm, editorial frames.
• Edit quickly with strong hooks, pacing, captions, sound and trending audio.
• Follow trends on TikTok and Instagram and turn them into on-brand ideas.
• Be among the first to get new products and show how to make people want them.
• Create content for drops and seasonal moments (Valentine's, summer, fall, Christmas).
• Collaborate with paid team to adapt top organic videos into ads.
• Post, schedule and analyze performance to create more of what works.

About Pixyls

Pixyls makes premium sticker-by-number kits, scene canvases, bookmarks, desk friends and puzzle books. Every design is drawn by an independent human artist, never AI. People build our kits as a screen-free creative reset, and they turn into art worth hanging on the wall. We're based in Toronto, sell across Canada, the US and internationally, and we're growing fast.

The role

You'll be the hands, eyes and creative brain behind our social content, filming from your own space wherever you are in the world. We'll ship you every new product. You'll craft with our kits, build little sets out of props, film what makes our products satisfying, and edit it into videos people can't scroll past. You'll work closely with the founder and the marketing team, and your videos will show up on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and in our ads.

What you'll do

• Craft with our products on camera: peeling, placing, building and revealing finished pieces

• Edit fast and well, with strong hooks, good pacing, captions, sound and trending audio
• Keep up with trends on TikTok and Instagram and turn them into on-brand ideas
• Be one of the first to get your hands on new products and figure out how to make people want them
• Make content for new drops and our big seasonal moments (Valentine's, summer, fall and Christmas)
• Work with our paid team to turn top organic videos into ad versions
• Post, schedule and keep track of what's performing, then make more of what works
