Job summary

RES is seeking a competent driver/operator to safely operate and drive trucks in support of project-site operations. The role includes loading and unloading at the job site, inspecting for safety, and complying with site policies to maintain a secure work environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, a clean MVR per DOT standards, and a valid CDL (Class A or B) with tanker endorsement as a plus.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clear motor vehicle record (MVR) according to DOT and company standards.
• Maintain a proper license and/or CDL in good standing (Class A, Class B, DOT).
• Tanker endorsements a plus.

Summary:

• Loads and unloads truck to and from job site, may involve heavy lifting.

• Compliant with site policies and safety procedures.
• Reports any accidents and/or injuries immediately.
• For DOT drivers:
  • Performs all required DOT inspections and complies with other regulatory DOT requirements by adhering to state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to operate and drive a vehicle/truck.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately.
• Ability to work on different types of terrain.

Physical requirements and environment:

Construction site environment includes early stage permitting, development and auditing through finished roads and features. Extensive travel with driving to remote sites along with office work in field conditions is also included.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
