Job summary

Apex Water and Process is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Minnesota to join a fast-growing, safety-focused team. If you have a mechanical or plumbing background, you'll assemble pumps, valves, filters, and piping for custom water-treatment systems, using blueprints and production prints.

Qualifications

• Six months hands-on experience in mechanical, plumbing or HVAC work involving tools, piping, and fittings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a shop environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, or schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install pumps, valves, filters, sensors, and piping on custom-built water treatment systems.
• Work from P&IDs, GA drawings, and production prints to bring designs to life.
• Build and test piping systems using PVC, CPVC, PE, PVDF, PFA, and other materials for various system types.
• Assist in factory acceptance testing (FAT) to ensure units meet standards before shipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, controls, and service teams to troubleshoot and refine system performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, prioritizing safety and quality.
• Train and assist newer team members as you grow in your own technical skills.
• Each day brings something new - different projects, configurations, and challenges that keep the work hands-on, rewarding, and never monotonous.
