Job summary

WKS KRISPY KREME, LLC is seeking a Production Specialist / Doughnut Maker to prepare, produce, and process Krispy Kreme doughnuts according to recipes, quality standards, and schedules.

You will operate proofers, fryers, glazers, mixers, and related equipment while ensuring food safety, accurate logs, and clean, organized workstations.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and flexible shifts to meet demand in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food production, bakery, manufacturing, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and identify numbers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce doughnuts that meet Krispy Kreme quality, appearance, and freshness standards.
• Prepare dough, glaze, fillings, icings, brews, and other ingredients using approved recipes and formulas.
• Follow production schedules and projections to ensure product availability while minimizing waste.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Package and stage products for processing, display, and distribution as needed.
• Maintain proper product rotation and freshness standards.
• Safely operate production equipment including proofers, fryers, glazers, mixers, processing equipment, fillers, icing machines, and related production tools.
• Follow all operating procedures and equipment safety requirements.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues to management.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational readiness.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Utilize proper food handling, labeling, storage, and rotation procedures.
• Complete required production logs and operational documentation.
• Maintain excellent personal hygiene and food safety practices.
• Support production needs for all shifts and business demands.
• Work collaboratively with production, retail, sanitation, and leadership teams.
• Assist with inventory organization, product staging, and supply replenishment.
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Support training initiatives and continuous operational improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
