Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service or food-and-beverage experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn recipes and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state food-handler licenses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food items per Starbucks recipes and standards.
• Greet guests and take accurate orders while anticipating needs.
• Maintain knowledge of products and seasonal offerings to assist guests.
• Operate espresso machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep café clean and organized, including workstations and seating areas.
• Follow cash-handling procedures and use the POS system.
• Support inventory, restocking, and product preparation during shifts.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team and leadership for smooth operations.
• Perform opening and closing duties and required checklists.
