Job summary

Target is hiring a Starbucks Barista in Salinas, CA to craft hand-made beverages and foods to specification, greet guests, and ensure fast, friendly service. You will follow food safety standards, operate POS and handheld scanners, and collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to maintain a clean, inviting space.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests, help locate items, resolve issues and thank guests at checkout.
• Produce hand crafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards.
• Follow all food safety requirements and maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards in the Starbucks space.
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital orders accurately and on time.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations and collaborate with team members across the store.
