Job summary

Target is seeking a Starbucks Barista to provide a friendly, consistent guest experience across store operations. You will craft beverages and food to recipe standards, assist with Drive Up and pickup orders, and uphold safety and cleanliness.

The role emphasizes strong teamwork, high energy, and flexible hours including nights and weekends. Prior Starbucks or food service is a plus, but training is provided to build skills and deliver memorable experiences to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and related technology.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of staying focused in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience during all hours of operation.
• Uphold Starbucks and Food & Beverage standards at all times.
• Handle deliveries, replenishment, in-stocks, and signing tasks.
• Stay aware of current and upcoming promotions and product pricing.
• Support Drive Up and digital guest order fulfillment accurately.
• Maintain an inviting dining area throughout shifts.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations.
• Prepare beverages and food to recipe specifications.
• Follow food safety requirements and record temperatures where required.
• Complete cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space per best practices.
• Identify damaged or expired items and process accordingly.
• Manage perishable inventory and store-initiated orders.
