The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection in Point Clear, Alabama,is seeking a friendly Bartender to craft cocktails and serve guests at our Bar, Pool, and Restaurant outlets.

Join our bar team and mix drinks to order, greet guests by name, manage inventory, stay informed on daily specials, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and ABC compliance to deliver memorable hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required or preferred.
• Experience as a bartender or in a beverage-serving role is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines and beers.

Responsibilities

• Beverage preparation: mix a variety of drinks according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Customer engagement: greet guests, take orders, and personalize recommendations by name.

Bartender, your role will be essential to creating an enjoyable and personalized bar experience for each guest. You'll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, from signature cocktails to classic wines and beers, all while maintaining a well-organized and fully stocked bar. Your expertise and warm demeanor will help to create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and delighted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Skillfully mix a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring each is served according to recipe and presentation standards.
• Customer Engagement: Welcome guests warmly, take orders, and make recommendations based on guests' preferences, using their names whenever possible to personalize their experience.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Maintain an organized bar area, restocking supplies and keeping track of inventory for efficient operations.
• Menu Knowledge & Specials: Stay informed about daily specials, highlight unique offerings, and engage guests with suggestions to enhance their experience.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Adhere to food and beverage regulations, responsible alcohol service standards, and maintain a clean and inviting workspace.
• ABC Compliance: Observe all Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) board regulations, ensuring responsible and compliant alcohol service at all times.
