Job summary

Trevor’s Liquor in Scottsdale is seeking a friendly Bartender with knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine to join a high-volume craft cocktail bar. The ideal candidate has hospitality experience and a strong guest-service mindset.

Responsibilities include verifying IDs, opening/maintaining tabs, making recommendations, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming bar and dining area while delivering great customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services (minimum 1 year).
• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine; willingness to learn more.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Open and maintain tabs throughout the shift
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Build rapport with customers to create a positive atmosphere
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions; balance cash register
• Clean draft lines and change kegs
• Maintain clean work and dining area; wash glasses and equipment
• Serve food and drinks at the bar
• Keep customer areas clean and bus the bar
