Job summary

Phil's Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant is seeking a Bartender to uphold high drink quality and efficiency in a fast-paced setting. You will prepare orders per recipes, maintain a clean work area, and deliver superior guest service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying legal drinking ages, recommending bar items, taking and delivering orders, and managing bar stock with accurate cash handling. Flexible shifts are required for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus and classic cocktails.
• Excellent customer service skills and guest interaction.
• Verbal communication and accurate cash handling.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Verify guests purchasing alcohol are at least 21 years old.
• Know bar and menu items and make recommendations.
• Take beverage orders accurately at the bar and lounge.
• Deliver orders within established time frames.
• Use suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Set up and maintain bar stock levels.
• Assist in placing orders for liquor and bar supplies.
• Conduct inventory of liquor and bar supplies.
