Job summary

Gin & Luck in Nashville seeks an experienced Bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences and master modern cocktails. You will greet guests, manage bar service, and ensure responsible alcohol handling with ID checks.

You will work with bar leadership to maintain standards, train staff, and contribute to a welcoming hospitality culture in a high-volume setting. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tip pool participation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a smile and eye contact.
• Provide an exceptional guest experience from entry to departure.
• Serve alcohol only to guests 21+, check IDs at tables.
• Control alcohol service to prevent over-intoxication.
• Know service expectations and cocktail specifications, brands, allergens.
• Set up bar station and keep mise en place ready for service.
• Maintain knowledge of products, ingredients, sourcing, brands, allergens.
• Perform bar maintenance and keep serving ware clean and organized.
• Manage POS operations and know table numbers and section layout.
• Communicate with hosts about bar service flow.
• Keep Bar Lab clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Polish glassware and silverware; stock mise trays.
• Handle guest challenges with tact and courtesy.
• Recognize intoxicated patrons and involve management when needed.
• Report guest complaints following company steps.
