Job summary

Thirsty Lion Gastropub Tempe is hiring bartenders to join our team in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on delivering friendly guest service, knowing the menu, and preparing drinks and cocktails to recipe. You will work at a busy bar, greet guests, and support the dining room as needed.

Qualifications include obtaining a valid food service and alcohol permit, consistent punctuality and grooming, and strong math and POS skills. Training is provided and liability safety rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a valid food service and alcohol permit.
• Arrive on time and be prepared for shift responsibilities.
• Maintain neat appearance and proper uniform.
• Know food and beverage menus, specials, seasonal beers and drinks.
• Enter all orders into the POS accurately with minimal errors.
• Engage guests with a positive, professional approach.
• Follow all liquor laws and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing trainings and adhere to handbooks.
