Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall in Decatur, GA is seeking a bartender to craft drinks and ensure guests have a memorable experience.

You will uphold Electric Hospitality values, prepare drinks as ordered, check IDs, and maintain sanitation and safety while coordinating with servers and bar staff to optimize guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Live and uphold Electric Hospitality values and culture.
• Prepare guests’ drinks as ordered.
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain dating/rotation of beverage items.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Take drink orders from guests at the bar or from servers.
• Input orders into the POS system.
• Slice fruit or other garnishes for drinks.
• Clean the bar and arrange glasses for an attractive bar display.
• Prepare bills and accept payment from guests.
• Thank guests and invite them back for a future drinking/dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Perform calmly under stressful conditions.
• Assist the team to optimize the guest’s dining experience.
