Job summary

Belching Beaver Brewery Inc in Vista, CA is seeking a Line Cook to create creative, high-quality dishes for a busy brewery/restaurant. You will work late afternoon, evenings, and weekends, bringing 3-5 years of kitchen experience and grill/broiler expertise to the team.

Candidates should hold ServeSafe or Food Handler certification, possess strong time management, stay calm under pressure, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment.
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary.
• Follow all food safety regulations.

In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare creative and delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years' experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. Grill/Broiler experience is a must. We are looking for an individual that can work later afternoon, evenings and weekend shifts.
