Job summary

Cavalier Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our West Chester Warehouse in Ohio. This full-time role is Monday–Friday, 7 am–3 pm, with a compensation range of $18–$19 per hour.

You will assist daily warehouse operations, receive product, manage inventory, and support the Warehouse Manager as needed. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of warehouse experience, forklift certification, and strong communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year warehouse experience (preferred).
• Forklift experience and certification required.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team.
• Able to read, count and write documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing physical inventory and monitor stock levels.
• Receive, log and unload incoming freight; verify against invoice/PO.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and man lift as needed.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Use WMS and RF scanners for inventory transactions.
• Stack, wrap, and label pallets for loading.
• Perform quality checks during picking and packing.
• Help maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Multitask in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Join Cavalier’s Operations team! Cavalier Distributing is one of just a handful of U.S. distributors with a portfolio comprised exclusively of specialty imports and American craft beers. As Ohio’s premiere craft beverage distributor, we are seeking an aggressive, passionate, self-starting individual, who has what it takes to join our team as a Warehouse Associate for our West Chester Warehouse. This position is Monday through Friday working first shift from 7 am - 3 pm.

The successful candidate will assist with daily operations of the warehouse, receive product, manage inventory and assist the Warehouse Manager as needed.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Participate in the ongoing physical inventory of warehouse items and monitor inventory to maintain adequate supply of items.
• Receive, log and unload incoming freight shipments. Verifies freight against invoice and purchase order.
• Previous experience operating a forklift, pallet jack and man lift.
• Effectively and efficiently handle truck loading and receiving.
• Utilize computerized WMS (Warehouse Management System) and RF scanners.
• Stack, wrap, and label pallets before staging for loading.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the picking process.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Ability to multitask in a customer focused, fast paced environment.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum one year previous work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must have forklift experience and be forklift certified.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to process information/merchandise.
• Ability to communicate with supervisor.
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
