Alvarium Beer Co. in New Britain, CT is seeking a detail-minded Beertender to create an outstanding guest experience in our taproom. The role requires at least 2 shifts per week, with 3 shifts ideal, and involves serving guests, sharing beer knowledge, and maintaining a clean, welcoming space.

Pay starts at $8.23 per hour plus tips when the bar is open, with prep/closing duties paid at $16.94 per hour. Part-time employees receive a generous monthly comp card allowance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a service industry role, preferably bar/taproom or restaurant.
• TIPS certification preferred.
• Passion for craft beer and customer service.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly personality.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork commitment.
• Proficient in basic math and cash handling.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and events; starting as early as 2pm.
