Job summary

The Brass Tap – National Harbor is hiring service team members to greet guests, take orders, and serve chef-inspired food with a passion for beer knowledge. You’ll provide guests with an amazing experience in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a team dedicated to hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Applicants should be 21+, able to work weekends/holidays, and comfortable operating a POS system while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 or older per state/local requirements.
• Availability to work weekend and holiday shifts.
• Ability to balance and carry multiple food and beverage items.
• Able to competently operate the POS and beverage equipment.
• Continuous standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to The Brass Tap.
• Follow The Brass Tap steps of service for taking and serving orders.
• Be beer and menu knowledgeable to suggest beers and describe menu items.
• Present guest check and take payment.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Keep station and service areas clean and organized.
• Complete duties without constant supervision.
