Job summary

WOB Bar and Kitchen in Orlando is looking for a professional restaurant server to join our team. You will provide friendly, attentive service and guide guests through menu selections to enhance their dining and beer experience.

This fast-paced role rewards strong communicators with competitive hourly wages plus tips. You will greet guests, take orders, relay to the kitchen, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment from the moment they sit down.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly and high energy personality.
• Friendly and accurate communication with customers in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Basic math skills for processing payments.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to be a contributing member of the team in sales and duties.
• Any food or alcohol awareness certification as required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and escort them to their tables as needed.
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items.
• Suggest menu items to enhance the customer experience. Take food and drink orders from customers.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure that they are prepared quickly and accurately.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
• Check back with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.
