Job summary

Yellow Springs Brewery in Ohio is seeking a dedicated production team member to safely execute brewing, cellaring, and packaging operations under the Head Brewer.

You will brew, transfer, and package beer, maintain clean facilities, record accurate data, and troubleshoot equipment while collaborating with the production team to optimize processes and ensure quality.

• Must be at least 21 years old

Responsibilities

• Brew, transfer, and package beer.
• Safely use industrial cleaning products.
• Collect and record accurate production data.
• Communicate with production team and other departments as needed.
• Work with production team to improve efficiency of processes.
• Perform other production tasks as needed.
• Help maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Move production materials and finished goods between facilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Brewer

General Accountabilities:

• Physically brewing, transferring, and packaging beer

• Safely using industrial cleaning products

• Collecting and recording accurate data

• Communicates with production team and other departments as needed

• Working with production team to make production processes as efficient as possible

• Performing other production tasks as needed

• Helping maintain and troubleshoot production equipment

• Moving production materials and finished goods between facilities

• Helping maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Performing other duties as assigned by Head Brewer

Job Qualifications:

• Two years craft beer production related experience

• Passion for craft beer

• Must be at least 21 years old

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary

• Strong attention to detail

• Critical and creative thinking

• Coordination, ability to lift up to 115 lbs.

• Ability to thrive in a team setting

• 40 Hours, Monday through Friday, occasional weekend and evening hours necessary
