Job summary

The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel is seeking a Part-Time Miller Time Pub Server to provide friendly service, explain the beer program, and take beverage orders from guests. You will learn the full menu and beer pairings, operate the POS system, and work as part of a team to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing orders, maintaining cleanliness, handling payments, and contributing to a fast-paced hospitality environment with a focus on guest

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage service and alcoholic beverages.
• English communication skills (read, write, speak).
• Ability to memorize menu items and beer pairings.
• Team player with positive attitude and reliability.
• Cash handling and counting change.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and POS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly in a friendly manner and explain beer program and menu features.
• Learn all menu items and beer pairings; take orders accurately.
• Input orders into POS; coordinate with bartender and kitchen staff.
• Maintain clean tables and assist the bar area; replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Present checks promptly and invite return visits; adhere to health standards.
• Perform general cleaning tasks as directed.
