Job summary

Cavalier Distributing Florida is seeking a motivated Field Sales Support Lead to oversee an assigned Florida territory and report to the Field Sales Support Manager. You will join our team to support daily customer visits, coach representatives, and promote our portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines a positive attitude with sales discipline, can work autonomously, and is ready to learn in a fast-paced market. This role offers growth within a dynamic beverage distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in team management, account sales management, merchandising, retail sales, service industry or any other experience working with consumer-packaged goods.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with retail partners and leadership to ensure product placement and promotions.
• Maintain positive interaction with store-level and local chain leaders.
• Execute sales priorities and initiatives for the territory and track plans.
• Coach and develop team members including account managers and merchandising staff.
• Provide training on sales, merchandising and product knowledge to staff.
• Ensure proper pricing, signs and merchandising to optimize visibility and sales.
• Provide feedback on market conditions, competition and pricing to the manager.
• Utilize promotional pricing to gain retail opportunities.
• Oversee placement and utilization of point-of-sale materials.
• Sell and maintain displays with proper pricing and merchandising.
• Assess rotation and compliance with standards.
• Manage out-of-code or breakage returns.
• Communicate activities to relevant parties and assist in pre-plans and recaps.
• Build relationships with Cavalier teammates for effective merchandising and delivery.
• Conduct tastings and demonstrations to educate retailers and consumers.
