Job summary

New Land Hospitality in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced bartender to join one or more of our venues. You will work independently, craft cocktails, pour beer and wine, and deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced setting across Crossroads Collective venues and Canopy Bar.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bartending, holds a valid bartender license, and can cover at least 3 shifts per week including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of bartending experience.
• Available to work at least 3 shifts per week including nights and weekends, as needed
• Must maintain a valid bartender’s license for duration of employment
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with both colleagues and guests through excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar before and after each shift with all ingredients and supplies, following recipes for batches, syrups, garnishes, juices, etc.
• Prepare all menu items according to instructions; craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options as applicable
• Input and process orders in the POS system, handle payment and cash
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock levels; perform opening/closing duties and side-work
• Provide excellent customer service to Canopy guests
• Uphold beverage program standards and knowledge of brand expectations
• Report stock shortages to supervisor to ensure adequate ordering for next week
