Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Bartender Non-Tipped in the Chicago area to provide exceptional guest service, mix cocktails, and serve drinks efficiently. You will collaborate with waitstaff to ensure prompt service and maintain professional bar operations.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year of relevant experience, are 18+ (as required by local laws), and can work varied shifts including some weekends and holidays. Full-time employment with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of bartending or related experience.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, mix and serve cocktails with and without alcohol, and create drinks with appropriate garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is fully stocked and equipped with the necessary tools and products.
• Prepare accurate opening counts and issue inventory or purchase orders to replenish supplies as needed.
• Be cordial, diplomatic, and attentive when dealing with guests.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and move around the bar area during shifts.
• Capable of repetitive motions as part of daily duties.
• Attend work punctually and reliably for scheduled shifts; other duties may be assigned as needed.
