Job summary

La Serre and Bar La Rue in Chicago’s West Loop, part of DineAmic Hospitality, seek bartenders who can deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, full-service setting. The role requires strong beverage knowledge, precision, consistency and teamwork.

You will prepare and serve drinks, maintain a clean bar, manage orders and cash, monitor responsible service, and collaborate with servers and staff to ensure seamless service and guest engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Valid alcohol service certification or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes with accuracy and consistency.
• Deliver warm, attentive hospitality to every guest at the bar and service well.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, allergens, and beverage options.
• Execute high-volume service while maintaining composure and quality.
• Enter orders into the POS and process payments per procedures.
• Monitor alcohol service and enforce responsible standards.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management.
