Job summary

Old National Bank seeks a Community Development Mortgage Loan Originator in Saint Paul, MN. This role focuses on CRA and multicultural originations, generating residential mortgages for LMI communities and promoting home ownership in majority-minority areas.

You will self-source loans, manage pipelines, and coordinate seminars with community partners. Experience in FHA/conventional/government lending guidelines and NMLS eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in community and diversity mortgage loan origination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent computer skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities; ability to multi-task.
• Licenses/Certifications: eligible to register with NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans to achieve production goals.
• Self-source loans through referral partners, community orgs, housing agencies, local leaders, realtors.
• Convert leads into applications and collect documents to satisfy loan conditions.
• Manage pipeline from origination through closing and prepare management reports.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
• Use ONB tools to provide accurate loan information to customers and partners.
• Promote home ownership in majority-minority census tracts.
• Coordinate home-buying training seminars for CRA and multicultural origination.
• Partner with community, non-profit and government agencies focused on affordable housing.
