How You Make a Difference

The CQI Coordinator works under the supervision of the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement to support the Mortality and Morbidity Review program. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and track the Mortality and Morbidity Review program, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and related training.
  • Communicate with facilities, regional clinical staff, and operations staff to schedule and track reviews and peer reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records, distribute necessary paperwork, and upload documents to the CQI software system.
  • Take meeting minutes for various committees and assist in consensus building, bringing energy and accountability.
  • Demonstrate a teachable spirit and navigate the organization to seek answers when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred).
  • 2+ years of mental health experience; corrections or institutional mental health experience preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Experience in process improvement or quality management highly preferred but not required.
  • No required licenses or certifications.
