This position manages Jackson Lake State Park, a water-based park serving over 300,000 visitors annually. Responsibilities include maintaining facilities, ensuring safety, natural resource management, law enforcement, and collaborating with various agencies. It involves supervising staff and volunteers, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
The role involves maintaining grounds and infrastructure, operating and repairing equipment, supervising staff, and handling administrative tasks such as reporting and record-keeping. Certifications in water and wastewater systems are required, with ongoing training to maintain skills and compliance.
Minimum qualifications include four years of experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields. Education substitutions are possible. Preferred qualifications include state experience, teamwork, and deadline management. Conditions include Colorado residency, valid driver’s license, ability to operate various vehicles and equipment, and disclosure of prior disciplinary actions.
