Responsibilities

As a Compensation Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in the market pricing, design, development, and administration of their compensation programs. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of compensation programs for market competitiveness, pay equity, and compliance.
  • Design and implement compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and executive plans.
  • Develop pay administration guidelines and modeling tools using Excel and PowerBI.
  • Model financial impacts of compensation system recommendations and incentive plans.
  • Build job architectures, job families, descriptions, and competency models.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations.
  • Create client-facing communication materials, presentations, and training content.

Note: Work hours will typically be heavy from July through December due to the annual compensation cycle of our clients' businesses.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or HR (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of compensation analysis experience, advising stakeholders on solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, PowerBI, and data modeling tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation regulations, including FLSA and pay equity laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Preferred: CCP, GRP, PHR, SHRM-CP certification, and experience with compensation software.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience.
