Job summary

Qualcomm is seeking a CPU Performance Analysis Engineer to work on CPU performance analysis, workload characterization, and competitive performance analysis using industry-standard benchmarks.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and at least 4 years of relevant experience. The position offers a salary range of $167,000 to $250,600 and various benefits including discretionary bonuses and RSU grants.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• Experience with system architecture technology areas.
• 10+ years relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect CPU performance data for various workloads.
• Conduct workload characterization on silicon.
• Develop tools to project SOC benchmark performance.

Skills

Computer architecture fundamentals

Scripting skills (Bash/Perl/Python)

C/C++/x86 and ARM assembly

Familiarity with CPU performance models

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
