Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support SCI and SAP programs, reporting to the Director of Security.

You will act as the primary security authority for assigned programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations and safeguarding classified information. Responsibilities include creating security documentation, managing access and records, conducting briefings, and coordinating with government security offices to maintain

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to maintain TS/SAP access.
• 3–5 years as a CPSO/PSO in SCI/SAP environments.
• Knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, and DoD SAP policy.
• Experience managing SCIF/SAPF accreditation processes.
• Familiarity with personnel security systems: DISS, NBIS, SIMS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary security point of contact for SCI/SAP programs; provide day-to-day oversight.
• Develop and maintain PSIs, SCGs, and security docs.
• Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and indoctrinations.
• Manage access rosters, visit requests, and personnel security records.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, and DCSA requirements.
• Support inspections, action plans, and program reviews.
• Coordinate with FSO and government reps on inspections and procedures.
• Oversee SCIF/SAPF accreditation activities and facility security.
