TDCAA | Assistant Criminal District Attorney-CPS and Civil in Abilene, TX. This role handles about 20% of CPS matters in Taylor County and participates in family violence and protective order work within the civil division.

You will advise CPS caseworkers, oversee litigation from pleadings to trials, and evaluate protective order applications for prosecution when indicated. The position is Exempt and salary is based on experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. required from an accredited law school.
• Licensed with the State Bar of Texas or will be eligible for the July 2026 bar exam.

Responsabilités

• Advise CPS caseworkers on appropriate legal actions.
• Manage all aspects of pending litigation including pleadings, discovery, and hearings.
• Evaluate protective order applications and prosecute as appropriate.
