Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care across departments in Traverse City. You will assist with basic personal care, help patients with walking, transport between departments, and collect specimens as needed.

Qualifications include CPR certification, ability to lift, and a high school diploma or GED preferred. All staff must meet vaccination requirements and follow confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
• Complete personal hygiene
• Collecting specimens
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient
