Job summary

The J in Olathe, KS is seeking attentive attendants to supervise children ages 3 months to 11 years in our Clubhouse. Work Monday–Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, providing safe, engaging activities and ensuring check-in/out procedures.

Candidates should enjoy helping kids, maintain cleanliness, and support a positive environment for families and staff. CPR/First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain it; minimum age 15; strong communication and reliability are essential to thrive

Qualifications

Enjoys working with and caring for children.
Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification, or willing to obtain certification.
Minimum age: 15 years.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Engage/Lead children in age-appropriate developmental, sensory, and active play fitness activities.
Follow all policies and programming outlines to ensure safe, age-appropriate activities for all children.
Greet children and parents, ensure proper check-in and check-out, and communicate appropriate information at check out.
Adhere to all staff guidelines during shift.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout department.
Maintain a positive work environment for staff, children, and parents.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Responsible for daily sterilization of toys, tables and areas of regular use.
