Job summary

Village Caregiving - Cleveland, OH is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to help clients with daily living activities, mobility, and health support in their homes.

You will assist with medication reminders, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments, while maintaining safety and dignity.

CPR certification and excellent communication are required, with a strong bedside manner and reliable time management. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• CPR certification from American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and follow care plans.
• Respectful and compassionate bedside manner.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist with ambulation and mobility
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Support physical therapy and exercises
• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Collect information from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family
• Report incidents to nurses, doctors and family
• Act quickly in emergencies
