Job description

As a Senior Functional Consultant for Infor’s CPQ software, you will guide customers through the full implementation of Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) solutions, ensuring all CPQ modules are seamlessly integrated into their business processes. This role involves providing functional solutions, sharing leading practices, and delivering results tailored to customer needs. You will collaborate with a team of professionals who play a key role in implementing solutions and driving successful outcomes. The ideal candidate is skilled at conducting in-depth analysis, resolving complex issues, and serving in a leadership capacity on challenging projects. In this role, you will mentor and guide others throughout the implementation lifecycle, with a focus on systems analysis, functional design, and testing.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

• Leading full-cycle implementations, including Kickoff, Requirements Gathering, Functional Design and Documentation, System Configuration, Testing, and Training, while ensuring adherence to Infor Deployment Methodology.
• Collaborating with customers to understand their business requirements and translating those requirements into systematic specifications for development.
• Developing a deep understanding of CPQ software features to effectively apply them to meet customer needs.
• Researching, documenting, configuring, and testing functional elements to align with customer policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Partnering with Product Management, Product Development, and Customer Support to communicate customer needs and design effective solutions.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders, and establishing credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Analyzing customer challenges and delivering appropriate solutions using core product functionality and industry-leading practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with CPQ software.
• Consulting experience, including customer-facing presentations.
• Project experience with exposure to software development, including Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing, and Deployment.
• Experience in analyzing and documenting business requirements and solution specifications.
• Experience in defining and building integrations between systems.
• Experience in managing multiple tasks.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.
• Ability to travel 40% or more.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Industry-specific expertise in Manufacturing or Distribution.
• Experience with Infor CPQ software or other CPQ platforms.
