Qualifications

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent certification.
  • Texas Driver’s License.
  • Three years related job experience.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform pool cleaning and maintenance.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral).
  • Good computer skills.
  • Physically able to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions (written and oral).

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain district aquatic facilities and pool mechanical rooms.
  • Assist supervisor with pool maintenance projects and repairs.
  • Clean water line tiles, deck tiles, coping, and hardware.
  • Check and adjust water chemistry.
  • Inspect pool safety equipment.
  • Report pool-related issues.
  • Repair pool cleaning equipment and chemical feed systems.
  • Diagnose and repair pumps and motors.
  • Adhere to safety around hazardous chemicals.
