Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. You will provide pharmacy services, assist the pharmacist, manage inventory, and support compliance and patient education as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Required ExCPT or PTCB certification and state registration; high school diploma or GED. Prior pharmacy experience in retail, ambulatory, or hospital settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT or PTCB certification and state Board registration required.
• Previous experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions.
• Review and record patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educate patients on proper medication use and safety.
• Assist Pharmacist in daily operations.
• Follow infection-control policies to protect staff and patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
