Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (CPhT) and NJ registration/licensure as required.
• Experience supporting pharmacists and coordinating daily dispensing activities.
• Strong knowledge of prescription processing and medication handling.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions accurately and verify patient information.
• Prepare medications and label/docket appropriately.
• Enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system and manage patient records.
• Count, label, and package medications; maintain inventory and stock levels.
• Assist with ordering, returns, and reconciliation of inventory.
• Provide courteous customer service at the counter and over the phone; answer routine questions.
