Keck Medicine of USC in Glendale, CA is seeking a Central Processing Distribution Technician (Non-Certified) for Per Diem 8 Hour Variable Shift (Union). The role provides daily resource support related to equipment, sterile and non-sterile supplies, working with SPD to store and distribute items.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prefers one year CPD experience, and demonstrates excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent as minimum education.
• Prefer one-year experience in a CPD environment.
• Experience in Acute Care hospital is preferred.
• Knowledge of handling medical equipment per infection control guidelines.
• Able to mobilize equipment to areas needing equipment.
• Must be extremely organized and demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resource support to the hospital related to equipment, sterile and non-sterile supplies.
• Work with SPD in storing and distributing equipment and supplies.
• Assist with stock inventories and restocking of supplies.
