Qualifications

• 2 years Coding experience preferred, but candidates with 1 year will be considered.
• CPC certification is required and must be submitted with the application.
• Strong understanding of claims processing and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure claims are coded correctly and meet internal guidelines.
• Review denied claims to correct errors or appeal them.
• Submit accurate information to expedite insurance payments.
• Follow up on claims to ensure timely payments.
• Utilize coding resources to maximize reimbursement.
• Correct misbilled accounts based on insurance.
