Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a dedicated Health Equipment Technician to set up CPAP/RAD devices, ensure compliance, manage supplies, and support patients in homes and the center. You will handle documentation, train patients on equipment use, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas.

The role requires a valid driver's license and completion of the company's Equipment Certification Program, with potential on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Completion of company's Equipment Certification Program.

Responsibilities

• Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner.
• May perform setup of oxygen equipment and other DME in patients' homes.
• Complete all required documentation and instruct patients on safe use of equipment.
• Clean rental equipment when returned and maintain warehouse organization.
• Monitor CPAP/RAD Compliance and follow up with non-compliant patients.
• Handle patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies including insurance verification and shipping arrangements.
• Monitor mdINR Compliance and follow up with non-compliant patients.
• Manage the center's oximetry process.
• Follow company policies including Safety & Regulatory Manual (OSHA, Emergency Planning).
• Participate in on-call responsibilities; frequency depends on center size.
