Job summary

Corrosion Service Teams (CST) is seeking an Assistant Team Lead (ATL) to inspect, assess, and service military and support equipment, performing CPC application, surface prep, and routine maintenance. The role involves leading in the absence of the CST Team Lead, managing CPAC program procedures and personnel, and traveling as needed to accomplish duties.

The CST ATL requires experience with CPAC programs, ability to supervise, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and maintaining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, and/or a vocational degree.
• Two years of experience related to CPAC Programs and CPAC operations.
• CPAC recertification required annually.
• Must be able to pass a background check and hold/obtain a Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Operate CPC application equipment (compressors, guns, grinders, vacuums).
• Apply CPCs to military and support equipment as directed.
• Identify Marine Corps Corrosion Category Codes 1–5 and corrosion stages.
• Perform CPAC assessments using CAC (paper and electronic).
• Perform surface preparation and touch-up on equipment.
• Maintain CPAC equipment and review program publications.
• Travel as required to perform duties.
