Job summary

Forvis Mazars LLP is seeking a full-time accounting student pursuing CPA eligibility for an Audit opportunity. You will develop technical skills and strengthen your foundational knowledge while building business relationships with clients across industries.

You will be coached by experienced staff and management, with increasing responsibilities as your skills grow. You will contribute by completing audit testing, reconciling accounts, drafting comments, and participating in client meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; GPA 3.0 minimum.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam in at least one U.S. State by start date.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge; proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to commute to assigned office and attend off-site meetings in person.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts (e.g., cash, AP, fixed assets).
• Interact with client personnel to reconcile differences and analyze data.
• Assist in drafting management letter comments and audit report.
• Attend client meetings with partners and managers.
