Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
  • Managing client relationships and being a go-to resource for their tax needs.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff and seniors.
  • Leading tax planning projects and identifying new opportunities for clients.
  • Researching and resolving complex tax issues.
  • Participating in client meetings and communicating tax concepts clearly and simply.
  • Managing deadlines and keeping projects moving smoothly.
Qualifications
  • CPA license (or actively pursuing it).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Comfortable with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Someone who can prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
