Qualifications

• Must hold an active CPA license and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Proficiency with accounting, tax, and financial reporting software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates, and nonprofits.
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings.
• Provide accounting and advisory services, assist with financial reporting, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Respond to IRS/state notices and assist with audits as needed.
• Prepare and review financial statements and support schedules; assist with bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliations.
• Meet with clients to discuss financial and tax strategies and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
