Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, handling journal entries, and supporting audits. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification are required. The company offers a competitive salary range of $90,000.00-$95,000.00 per year, along with additional benefits such as medical and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years accounting experience
• CPA required

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements.
• Prepare journal entries during monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Update account reconciliations in support of ending asset and liability balances; research and resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile daily cash posting in the subledger to the bank and general ledger.
• Oversee fixed asset processing, tracking, and reporting.
• Support external audits
• Assist with Special projects as required.
